Changes After Its Construction:
The mosque was revived during the reign of Sultan Mahmud II.
It suffered a fire in the early years of the Republic and was then restored.
The mosque was rebuilt in its current form in the early 20th century and its concrete decorations were renewed in 1990, taking its current form.
- Prominent features of the mosque
It is a two-story stone structure built on a 225 square meter plot. There are vaulted shop windows underneath.
Its wooden minaret with a single balcony reflects the classical Ottoman style.
It is notable as a masjid built with stone and brick rows and has masonry and classical Ottoman architecture.
Its concrete decorations were renewed in 1990.
