- Changes after its construction
  • In 1962, the mosque, which became insufficient with the development of Ümraniye, was expanded to the right side.
  • A plaster mihrab with stalactite was added to the area enlarged to the level of the school; thus, the mosque became a two-mihrab mosque.
  • The preaching’s pulpit was placed inside the first mihrab, and the wooden minbar was moved to the newly expanded area.
  • The old main gate was closed with stones and a new gate was opened on the left side.
- Prominent Features
  • The mosque was built on a small scale and has a barrel vault dome on the inside and a wooden roof on the outside.
  • The blind dome is placed on four arches and flat corner squinches.
  • The exterior is covered with granite stone.
  • The mosque is illuminated by four windows and its mihrab is placed in the wall in the form of a niche.
  • This mosque, with a single minaret and a single balcony, is also known as Caferağa Mosque and Ümraniye Mosque.
