- Prominent Features
  • The building, also known as the Kulebahçe Mosque, Kuleli Ocağı Mosque and Kuleli Mosque, is a well-constructed masonry structure with a rectangular plan close to a square; it is covered with a central dome and four smaller domes.
  • It has a single minaret and a single balcony and is one of the elegant waterside mosques on the Bosphorus.
  • The mihrab is a fine example of the Tanzimat Period mihrabs; it attracts attention with its three-dimensional depiction of an oil lamp.
  • The Harim of the mosque is illuminated by the round arched windows on the mihrab facade and side facades.
  • In front of the mosque there is a fountain built in classical Ottoman style.
