It has undergone various renovations over time.
While there was no dome in its original structure, it was covered with a wooden roof.
- Prominent Features
It is also known as Çukurcuma Mosque. It derives its name from the neighborhood.
It was built on a total land of 300 m². It is a square-plan, masonry and wooden building.
Its walls are made of stone and brick and have undergone significant repairs over time.
The minbar and preacher’s pulpit are made of wood and have fine workmanship. It has a minaret with a single balcony.
There is a staff lodging under the mosque.
For women, there is a prayer area, a place for ablution, amulet stone and a restroom.
Opposite is the Ömer Ağa Fountain, dated 1720.
