  • It is stated that the first small structure located in the place where the work was built dates back to the Seljuk period and was later expanded with additions.
  • It was used as a military depot during the İnönü period and as a barn during the Republican era.
  • Sources state that it was reopened for worship in 1948-1949.

  • It is made of regular cut stone with three rows of brick beams, and its blind dome is placed on an eight-sided drum.
  • Its minbar is wooden and its mihrab is a niche.
  • The tomb of Mısırlı Hacı Mustafa Agha is located to the right of Eyüp Sultan (Abu Ayyub al-Ansari).
