- Changes after its construction:
  • It is known in the Istanbul Encyclopedia that the mosque was open to worship until 1921, that it was excluded from the Evkaf staff at that time, that it was first rented as a residence, that it became a rough butcher paper factory at the beginning of World War II, and that it was later converted into a yarn dyehouse.
  • The minaret was destroyed and later repaired.
  • It was evacuated in 1957-1958 to be used as a mosque again.
  • With the efforts of the tradesmen, it was repaired in 1965 and brought back to its original condition.
  • It was renovated in 1990.

  • There is a single dome in the centre and four half domes on the sides.
  • It has a single-balcony minaret and shops underneath.
  • The mosque, which is multi-storey, is accessed by 12 stairs.
