It was rebuilt from cut stone and brick by the Foundations Administration with the help of the public between 1974 and 1977.
Its roof is covered with tiles, its minbar and preacher’s pulpit are wooden, and its mihrab is marble.

There is a Thuluth inscription at the door of the lodge.
On the wall dated 1830, there are two fountains side by side, one of which has Quranic verses written on it. The second fountain has a wide arch, is made of cut stone and has no inscription.
The upper gallery is made of stone and stands on two pillars. The entrance is from the narthex.
There is a Girls’ Quran Course on the ground floor.
There is a fresh water source in the garden.
The cup-like brick minaret hanging on the right wall has a windowed call-to-prayer area instead of a balcony.
In the graveyard of the mosque, which is entered from two gates into its large garden, two distinguished figures of the 17th century are buried: the famous Misri Ömer Efendi, the Sheikh of Suleymaniye, and the poet-statesman Azmizade Haleti Mustafa Efendi.
