It was demolished in the 1950s, only the minaret base remained, and was rebuilt by the "Musa Cihaner Foundation" in 1987-89.

It is also known as “Hatip Muslihiddin Mosque” and “Çukurbostan Mosque”.
It was built by Hafız Hatib Muslihiddin Efendi, who was an imam at the Bayezid Mosque and a preacher at the Sultan Selim, Süleymaniye and Haseki Mosques.
The mosque attracts attention with its square plan and monolithic dome. The reconstructed mosque is surrounded by a well-maintained garden.
The exterior of the building is covered with natural stone, adding a modern touch to the traditional Ottoman architectural features.
The minaret has a simple and elegant design and is equipped with a single balcony.
