- Changes after its construction
  • Apart from the minaret, fountain and surrounding walls, nothing remains from its original
    structure.
  • According to sources, the original mosque was destroyed in a fire, and a new building
    with 70 cm thin walls, pointed windows, a flat ceiling was built in its place, and an inner
    gallery was added.
  • It was last repaired by the Directorate General of Foundations in 1978.

  • It is one of the three mosques built by Molla Hüsrev.
  • The interior area of the mosque, which has a wooden roof, is 102 m².
  • Its single-balcony minaret was built with a row of cut stone and a row of bricks.
  • The minaret balcony has three rows of bricks in a sawtooth pattern, but only some
    fragments have survived to the present day.
  • There are three windows on the surrounding walls of the mosque and the fountain next
    to it is one of the original works.
  • This fountain is known as one of the oldest fountains in Istanbul.
