Apart from the minaret, fountain and surrounding walls, nothing remains from its original structure.
According to sources, the original mosque was destroyed in a fire, and a new building with 70 cm thin walls, pointed windows, a flat ceiling was built in its place, and an inner gallery was added.
It was last repaired by the Directorate General of Foundations in 1978.
