Changes after its construction
  • In 1767, its minaret was struck by lightning, after which it was rebuilt by Tıfli Mehmed Emin Efendi, who was appointed as the building supervisor by Sultan Mustafa III.
  • In 1876, it underwent extensive repairs by Zeynep Hanım, the daughter of Kavalalı Mehmed Ali Pasha.
  • In 1996, another restoration was carried out with the contributions of Imam Hacı Süleyman Bilir and the mosque community.
