Changes After Its Construction:
  • In 1957, the mosque was demolished and added to the road.
  • A new mosque bearing the same name was built later.
  • In 2015, the mosque graveyard was registered as a cultural asset and taken underprotection.
Prominent Features:
  • It was built by Neslişah Sultan as a small social complex consisting of a mosque, aschool, a fountain, a fountain, a well and a harem.
  • Lillahi Kane Kayren; (“Source of charity for Allah”) and the date of construction areengraved on the mosque’s door arch, regarding the charities of Neslişah Sultan .
  • The foundation charter determined the mosque’s income sources and services in detail.
