Changes After Its Construction:
  • It is estimated that it has undergone various repairs over time.
  • Today, its original structure is preserved, and it is open to worship.
Prominent Features:
  • It is also known as the “Eski (Old) Mosque”.
  • It was built in traditional Ottoman architecture with walls made of a mixture of stone and brick.
  • It is a rectangular structure, almost square in plan.
  • Its minaret has a cylindrical body, is white and has green decorations.
  • The interior is simple, with a wooden minbar and a mihrab being among the prominent details.
  • There are pointed arched windows illuminating the harim (prayer hall).
  • Classical Ottoman motifs and ornaments were used in its interior decoration.
