Prominent Features:

  • The tomb has plastered walls built from rubble stone and brick.
  • Its wooden roof is covered with Marseille-type tiles.
  • The structure is rectangular with chamfered corners.
  • It features triple window sets: the central window is arched, flanked by rectangular ones, all fitted with eclectic iron grilles.
  • The entrance is at the southeastern corner; access was formerly through the türbedar’s house.
  • Inside are fourteen wooden sarcophagi, each draped in silver-threaded puşides and surrounded by wooden railings.
  • The interior lacks decorative motifs; calligraphic panels once displayed inside have been relocated to the Istanbul Tombs Directorate for preservation.
  • Located within the Yahya Efendi Complex cemetery in Beşiktaş, the tomb is a modest yet significant resting place of the dynasty.
