About the Person:
  • Üryani Mehmed Dede Hazretleri was one of the distinguished scholars and Sufis of the reign of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. He was personally present at the conquest of Istanbul, serving both in military and spiritual capacities, and was renowned in his time for his knowledge and wisdom. He earned his name by renouncing worldly pleasures and turning solely toward divine love, adopting the title ‘üryani’ (naked, free from worldly attachments) on this path.
