Aydınlı Kindergarten

The first educational activity began in the Taş School building.
The construction of the present historic building began in 1913.
With the outbreak of the First World War, construction was interrupted.
With the financial support of the Istanbul Directorate of Education and the collective labour of the village people, the construction was completed in 1917.
The building originally had 6 classrooms.
Depending on the need for classrooms, a 6-classroom annex building was constructed in the 1993–1994 period.
Restoration in the historic building began in 2011 and was completed in 2012.
With the approval of the governorship, the building was reopened in 2012 as a kindergarten.
Within the scope of occupational health and safety measures, the classrooms on the upper floor were moved to the ground floor in 2018.

The building was constructed as a school building through the initiatives of Hacı Danış Bey, who had settled in Aydınlı before the Constitutional period and had served in the Municipality of Istanbul.
The construction process of the building was carried out through funds created by donations and the organization of the local education commission.
The historic school building completed in 1917 gained continuity as the main educational structure of the complex.
