  • After the building was purchased, it was converted into a school building by Avedis Pekmezyan and Sarkis Pekmezyan.
  • The construction of the orphanage/school building was completed in 1913; education and training began on 7 September 1913.
  • The Istanbul No. I Regional Conservation Board for Cultural and Natural Assets registered the building as a cultural asset to be protected by the decision dated 21 February 1995 and numbered 6375.
