Bostancı Public Education Center
Changes After Construction:
- The building was restored in 1915 by Architect Kemalettin Bey.
- The building was used for a period with the function of Bostancı Primary School.
- Within the scope of the protocol dated 18 January 1974, the building was allocated for use as a public education centre.
- The centre began to serve in the field of adult education with the approval of the Ministry of National Education dated 18 December 1975.
- The Şenesenevler annex building of the centre was taken into strengthening works within the scope of ISMEP in 2012.
Prominent Features:
- The building was also known by the names “Vakıf School” and “Bostancı Primary School.”
- The historic building was constructed in 1778 as “Vakıf School.”
- The 1915 restoration of the historic building was carried out by Architect Kemalettin Bey.
