Changes After Construction:
The structure was opened as “Beyazıt School” after the conquest of Istanbul.
In 1923, the structure was demolished and rebuilt; its name was changed to “Beyazıt Girls’ School.”
In 1949, the structure was named “Vezneciler Primary School.”
From 1980 onwards, the structure served as the “Vezneciler Primary School for the Hearing Impaired.”
The timeline of the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services records that the school opened in 1981.
Since February 2, 2015, the structure has been serving as the “Fatih Guidance and Research Center.”

The structure has also been referred to by the names “Beyazıt 5th Primary School I,” “Beyazıt Girls’ School” (İnas Mektebi), “Beyazıt Girls’ School,” and “Vezneciler Primary School.”
The building is evaluated among the Republican era educational structures in the First National Architecture style.
The structure is a two-story school building, including the ground floor, with a rectangular plan layout.
The facade features an emphasis on the molding course between floors, with the use of segmental arches for the ground floor openings and pointed arches for the upper floor openings.
The structure was designed within a symmetrical layout configuration with the opposing structure located on the same city block.
