Changes After Construction:
- The building, constructed in 1926 under the name 9th School, is one of 10 schools built in the same plan and type in the 1920s.
- Since 1989, it has been used as a primary education school.
- In 2012, survey, restitution, and restoration projects were prepared for the building, and it was restored.
Prominent Features:
- In the past, it also carried out educational activities under the names Güzelce Kasımpaşa Primary School and Kasımpaşa Coeducational Secondary School.
- On the projection of the front façade, there is a three-bay pointed arch arrangement.
- Ahmet Emin Yalman, whose name the present school bears, is among the important journalists and writers who witnessed the recent history of our country.
- Official records state that the architect of the Ministry of Education Construction Bureau, which commissioned the early Republican period schools, between 1923 and 1927 was Şemsettin Şeniz.
