Sinan Paşa Madrasa
Changes After Construction:
- The complex was completed after the death of its founder in 1553, and the inscription date is 963/1555–56.
- The madrasa units underwent repairs in different periods.
- The upper covering of the madrasa rooms was enclosed with a roof in a later period.
- The portico arrangement of the courtyard was altered; the original condition was damaged because the fronts of the madrasa rooms were enclosed with metal joinery.
- Restoration works were carried out in the courtyard and the madrasa rooms in the period 1972–1974.
Prominent Features:
- In the structure, an arrangement was employed in which the madrasa rooms were placed behind the courtyard porticoes.
- The madrasa has twelve rooms.
- The madrasa units are covered with a tiled roof.
