The complex was completed after the death of its founder in 1553, and the inscription date is 963/1555–56.
The madrasa units underwent repairs in different periods.
The upper covering of the madrasa rooms was enclosed with a roof in a later period.
The portico arrangement of the courtyard was altered; the original condition was damaged because the fronts of the madrasa rooms were enclosed with metal joinery.
Restoration works were carried out in the courtyard and the madrasa rooms in the period 1972–1974.
