At its foundation, the structure was affiliated with the lodge organization of the Khalwatiyya Order; later it became a place for the guidance activities of the Qadiriyya and Sadiyya orders.
Repairs were carried out in the madrasa–lodge wing in 1970.
A restoration was implemented in 1975, and the structure was used as a Qur’an course.
Since 1970, the madrasa has been associated with use as a girls’ Qur’an course.
The structure has been used for cultural and artistic functions under the municipality.
Prominent Features:
The structure is part of a small complex that includes lodge and masjid/tevhidhane units together with the madrasa.
The classroom-masjid unit has a single dome and a square plan; there is no inscription in the madrasa section.
The madrasa/lodge cells surround three sides of the open courtyard in a U-shaped arrangement; the number of cells is given as 10.
The cells and the meşkhane were built of cut küfeki stone.
The structure has been stated to have been used with the function of a darülhadis.
The structure has had a long-standing use associated with Qur’an education.
