Kazasker Mustafa Efendi Madrasa
Changes After Construction:
- A library was formed in the madrasa; the waqf seal dated 1682–1683 shows the condition that the books be studied “in its own madrasa.”
- In the 20th century, various contemporary structures were built on the madrasa plot in different periods; the plot was cleared through expropriation procedures by the General Directorate of Foundations.
- With the protocol dated 22.03.2016, the revival process was initiated.
- With the council decision dated 01.03.2019, the revival project was approved.
- On the council agenda dated 08.06.2022, the static project and façade alternative of the “Education and Culture Center” were included as matters for evaluation.
Prominent Features:
- The tomb of the founder is located within the madrasa.
- It is traceable through waqf seals and waqf records that there was a library allocated to the madrasa.
- The revival process is an official process carried out through the decisions of the Foundations Administration and the Conservation Council.
