Changes After Construction:
By the beginning of the 20th century, the structure was among the endowed buildings that could be leased out.
The structure was used as a residence for a long period; this use increased the risk of alterations in the interior.
In 2015, its restoration was completed through a municipal implementation.
After the restoration, the structure was reopened for use.
Prominent Features:
The structure is also known as the Kazasker Ataullah Efendi Sıbyan Mektebi (Primary School).
The structure is single-storeyed over a high basement and has a rectangular plan.
The wall masonry is in an alternating arrangement with courses of cut stone and brick.
On the basement facade, there are rectangular window openings with iron grilles.
On the classroom floor, there are large window openings with arches above.
A fountain leaning against the adjoining courtyard wall is located next to the structure.
The grave of the patron is in the cemetery of the Sheikh Abu’l-Vefa Mosque.
