The tomb and the majority of the graveyard, which formed the corner of the surrounding wall located at the continuation of the Sıbyan Mektebi (Primary School), were destroyed during road works.
There are archival correspondences regarding the repair of the school, which was damaged in the earthquake.
The square-planned classroom of the school, including its plaster grilles and ceiling, was reconstructed in the 1980s.
The building is currently used by a non-governmental organization.
