After the lodge was damaged in the Horhor Fire, it was rebuilt by Kasap Hoca Niyazi Efendi.
Because the wooden frame had lost its load-bearing capacity, the structure was vacated and fell into an abandoned state.
During the restoration process, the timber-frame system was reconstructed; the interior plaster and wooden façade cladding were removed, and the deformation in the structural system was corrected.
The wooden lath ornamentation on the ceiling of the tevhidhane and the wooden dome in its central bay were suspended, cleaned in a workshop setting, consolidated, and completed.
The restoration of the structure was completed as of 13 August 2018.
