  • The present structure was demolished on 1 January 2022; afterwards, a reconstruction process began with a broader program.
  • Within the scope of the reconstruction project, the qibla direction was recalculated, and the approximately 20-degree deviation identified in the previous structure was corrected.
  • During the reconstruction process, the plot area was enlarged; the new mosque was planned with a multi-storey composition.
Prominent Features:
  • The present-day structure has a reinforced-concrete body; its plan has an arrangement close to a rectangle.
  • The upper covering is a wooden roof and is tile-covered.
  • The son cemaat section is arranged as a narrow transition space; a women’s section associated with this part has been designed.
  • In the harim, the mihrab is marble; the minbar and preaching pulpit are wooden.
  • The upper gallery is arranged in reinforced concrete; the ceiling is covered with polished wood, and the use of wooden wainscoting stands out on the walls.
  • The minaret has a single balcony and a concrete body; access to the minaret is provided from inside the harim.
