Changes After Construction:
The waqf deed of the structure is dated Hijri 900 / 1494; the mosque was built before this date.
The record of 1518 also appears as a second date regarding the construction year.
The structure was revived in 1958 with the support of the public.
The school adjacent to the structure has not survived to the present day.
Prominent Features:
The structure is also known as Defterdar Ahmed Çelebi Mosque.
The name “Lütuf Pasha” is associated with the bath and fountain belonging to Lütfi Pasha in the surrounding area.
Its plan is rectangular; its walls are masonry.
The interior is plain; there is no ornamentation on the ceiling.
There is wooden paneling on the wall surfaces up to a height of approximately 1.5 meters.
Its mihrab and minbar are tile-covered; a tile-covering arrangement is seen at the lower levels of the windows.
There is a graveyard in the courtyard.
