- Changes the building has undergone since its construction
  • In 1717, after Hacı Beşir Agha became the Agha of Darüssaade, he added a pulpit to the masjid and elevated it to mosque status.
  • In 1971, the stone ablution basin in the courtyard was removed and a narthex with four wooden columns was added.
  • It was observed that the front cover of a sarcophagus in the courtyard was used as filling material in the left corner of the mosque.
- Prominent features of the mosque
  • The mosque, which is a square-plan, stacked stone structure, has a wooden roof. The narthex with four wooden columns was built in 1971. The mihrab of the mosque is in the form of a niche; the minbar is made of wood.
  • The base of the minaret on the right side of the mosque is made of stacked stone, while the upper parts are plastered with cement. The bottom of the balcony is stalactite and the surroundings are covered with cut stone.
  • Across the building, there is a school built by Daye Hatun and her grave is next to this school.
