Surp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Church
Changes After Construction:
- The church was repaired in 1847 by an imperial decree.
- The last repair of the church took place in 1999; it was consecrated and opened for worship by Patriarch Mesrob II.

- The church belongs to the Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey.
- The structure is also known as “Surp Astvazazin Armenian Church” and “Dzınunt Surp Asdvadzadzni Armenian Church.”
- The foundation of the church is linked to the worship needs of Armenian workers living in Bakırköy and working in the industrial facilities in the surrounding area.
- In the courtyard of the church are the graves of members of the Dadyan family and some individuals prominent in the life of the community.
- The structure is one of the Armenian (Orthodox) churches in Bakırköy/Zeytinlik.
