It was rebuilt as a mosque by Süreyya İlmen in the early 1900s.
The original structure was preserved and given the function of a place of worship.

At the entrance of the mosque, the following statement from the 103rd verse of Surahan-Nisa: Surely, prayer is a prescribed obligation upon the believers." is written.
The minbar and the preacher’s pulpit are made of wood.
