Changes after its construction
  • In 1832, the aging structure was completely rebuilt by Sultan Mahmud II.
  • In 1953, it was flooded due to heavy rain and its walls, floor and mihrab were damaged. It was repaired under the leadership of Beşir Vaner from Beylerbeyi locals.
  • In 1962, the interior of the mosque was thoroughly restored and painted by Hacı Ömer Özuzun, a resident of Beylerbeyi.
  • In 1966, the same person had the exterior repaired.
  • As a result of a new raid in 2004, the flooring and carpets were removed, and some historical artifacts were lost.
  • Its wall, which was damaged during Ramadan in 2005, was repaired and its courtyard was paved with stones in 2006.
  • In 2014, a comprehensive restoration was carried out by the Üsküdar Municipality, and the mosque was reopened for worship.
