There is no record of any significant repair or alteration.
It is currently protected along with the century-old plane trees and historical fountainsurrounding it.
Prominent Features:
It is also known as “Soğanlık Gümüşpınar Mosque” and “Çakallı Hacı Ali Ağa Mosque”.
There is a two-century-old plane tree in the garden.
Next to it is a historical fountain dating back to 1665. It was repaired in 1884-85.
Its exterior is plain and its minaret has a cylindrical body.
The single-story prayer hall with a wooden ceiling reflects the modest mosquearchitecture of the traditional Ottoman period.
