Sirkeci Dede İsmail Efendi, originally affiliated with the Halveti order, was the son of Yorgani Emir Sheikh Mehmed Kisedar-ı Geylani. He became the second spiritual leader (postnişin) of the Yorgani Lodge established by his father.
Known among the people as ‘Sirkeci Dede,’ he lived according to the principles of Sufi discipline and was respected for his wisdom and spiritual knowledge. His tomb is located on the grounds where the lodge once stood, with individuals from various professions also buried nearby.

The tomb is modest in size, rectangular in plan, and contains a single sarcophagus. It is located within the former cemetery of the Yorgani Lodge.
It is surrounded by a well-maintained garden and cemetery area. Nearby are the graves of individuals such as İzmit Quarantine Director Muhammed Salim Efendi, Qur’an Hafiz Sheikh Ibrahim Efendi, and Hamam Attendant İsmail of Küçük Mustafa Pasha.
The tomb has preserved its simple architectural style and continues to serve as a site of visitation.
