It was enlarged and reconstructed in 1982 and 1989 by raising the ceiling.
The minaret was rebuilt adjacent to the mosque.

The minbar and the preacher’s pulpit are made of wood with beautiful lathe workmanship.

Next to it is the Nureddin Cerrahi (The founder of Jerrahi Sufi Order and its namesake) Lodge, where Muzaffer Özak, who became famous in the 1980s, served as sheikh.
