- Changes after its construction:
It was repaired in 1892, during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
It was rebuilt in 1988 and only its minaret has been preserved.
- Prominent Features:
The walls of the mosque are covered with artistic Iznik tiles, and the ceiling is covered with harmonious blue patterns.
It is a masonry stone structure, its mihrab protrudes outwards and its roof is covered with tiles.
The minaret being located on the left side is a rare feature.
Its minaret is made of regular cut stone.
The eight-sided balcony covered with a cone is one of the striking architectural elements of the mosque.
Its balcony is similar to the Silahi Bey Mosque.
It is also known as Semiz Ali Paşa Mosque and Kurukavak Mosque.
