- Changes after its construction:
  • It was repaired in 1892, during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
  • It was rebuilt in 1988 and only its minaret has been preserved.
- Prominent Features:
  • The walls of the mosque are covered with artistic Iznik tiles, and the ceiling is covered with harmonious blue patterns.
  • It is a masonry stone structure, its mihrab protrudes outwards and its roof is covered with tiles.
  • The minaret being located on the left side is a rare feature.
  • Its minaret is made of regular cut stone.
  • The eight-sided balcony covered with a cone is one of the striking architectural elements of the mosque.
  • Its balcony is similar to the Silahi Bey Mosque.
  • It is also known as Semiz Ali Paşa Mosque and Kurukavak Mosque.
