  • In 1846-1847, the narthex was added and modern tiles were placed on the roof.
  • It was restored to its original state by the Foundations Administration between 1974 and 1981, and the dome and narthex were rebuilt.

  • It is also known as Dülgeroğlu Mosque.
  • It was built in the classical Ottoman style with a single dome made of cut limestone, the narthex is covered with four small domes and the arcades were later covered with glass.
  • It has a marble minbar and mihrab, and a wooden pulpit. There are a Muezzin’s Lodge and two women’s galleries.
  • As a unique feature of the mosque, the madrasah is located underneath the building (the ruins of the Canalıcı Church also known as Liybs Monastery are above it).
  • Its short, stone minaret, which draws attention with its projections and bracelets, has a single balcony and is entered from the narthex.
