Changes After Construction

  1. It suffered a fire in 1839 and was revived by Ali Pasha.

  2. It underwent extensive repairs in 1970 and took its current form.

  3. It was restored in 1975.

  4. Its wooden minaret was replaced with brick.

  5. After the repairs, the mihrab and the minbar were made of marble.
