The 500-year-old mosque, which was closed in 1958 because it was partially ruined, was opened for worship after restoration work was completed in 2016.
- Prominent Features
It is a classic Ottoman mosque type with a square plan and a single dome.
It has a single-balcony, short-bodied, and stone-based minaret.
The meticulous woodwork on the mihrab and minbar is noteworthy.
The interior features Baroque-influenced hand-drawn works.
Its courtyard is narrow and there is no fountain.
Over time, it has become cramped due to the concentration of modern buildings around it.
According to foundation records, in addition to the mosque, Hacı Ferhat Agha also donated a primary school and a fountain in the region, but these structures have not survived to the present day.
