- Changes after its construction
  • It underwent an extensive restoration in 1985.
  • The interior has been completely renovated with tiles.
  • The minaret has been preserved in its original form.
  • The historical fountain located outside the courtyard gate was built by Grand Vizier Çelebi Ali Pasha in 1620, repaired by Solak Nezir Agha in 1702 and by Sultan Mustafa II in 1764.

  • In the mosque’s graveyard, there are a total of 16 wooden coffins belonging to the founder of the mosque, Sheikh Haşimi Emir Osman Efendi, and his successors.
  • The tombstones contain symbols and inscriptions related to the professions of the people buried here.
  • It is known that Seyyid Haşimi Emir Osman Efendi was known as “Seyyid” or “Emir” because he was a descendant of Ali ibn Abu Talib (The fourth Caliph of Islam).
