  • The mosque has a short but thick green-white, single-balcony minaret.

  • At the entrance of the mosque is an inscription in Ottoman Turkish dated 1897-1898. The inscription describes the contribution of a charitable lady to the construction of the mosque. The mosque was probably rebuilt at this date. The inscription names it as “Ahmed Paşa Mosque”.
  • The inscription on the fountain next to the mosque, dated 1906, states that it was built by a benefactor to pray for the soul of Mahide Hanım, who died at a young age.
