Hatice Sultan Mosque is a building that reflects the characteristics of Ottoman architecture in the 17th century.
The mosque has a short but thick green-white, single-balcony minaret.
Its architectural structure is square-shaped, and its roof is tiled.
At the entrance of the mosque is an inscription in Ottoman Turkish dated 1897-1898. The inscription describes the contribution of a charitable lady to the construction of the mosque. The mosque was probably rebuilt at this date. The inscription names it as “Ahmed Paşa Mosque”.
The inscription on the fountain next to the mosque, dated 1906, states that it was built by a benefactor to pray for the soul of Mahide Hanım, who died at a young age.
