- Changes after its construction
  • It lost its original plan with the additions made in the 19th century.
  • The mosque, which is made of stone and has a wooden roof, has undergone many renovations.
  • It was restored by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2009.

  • It is also known as the “Hacı Kadın Mosque”.
  • Its first minbar was installed by Şeyhîzade Abdurrahman Efendi, son-in-law of Kazasker Abdürrahim Efendi, when he was the Rumeli Kazasker (Military Judge).
  • The mosque is of a magnificent structure. It has a narthex. The roofed mosque has a single-balcony minaret. The single-balcony minaret is separate from the main mass.
  • The mosque has a rectangular plan, rubble stone walls and is covered with a wooden roof.
  • Within the scope of restoration works, the building was cleared of the inclusions (later formed, not previously present). The parts of the wooden roof that had lost their characteristics were replaced and strengthened. The unqualified parts of the roof covering, wooden doors and windows were removed and the damaged or inclusions were renewed with original materials.
