- Changes after its construction
  • During the Ottoman-Russian War of 1854-1855, it was used as a flour warehouse for the soldiers serving in the castle.
  • It was converted into a mosque by Major Hüseyin Bey, and during the construction of the mosque, Sakal-ı Şerif (“The Blessed Beard”, a holy relic of the Prophet Muhammad) was given to the mosque as a gift.
  • It was restored by Arnavutköy Municipality in 2015.
