  • It underwent extensive restoration in 2014-2015.
  • It is registered in the name of Meryemzade Mehmet Efendi Foundation, which is currently represented by the Directorate General of Foundations.
- Prominent Features
  • It is a square planned mosque made of wood.
  • It has a single-balcony, flat, masonry minaret with a pear-shaped cone at the northwest corner.
  • Its exterior is covered with wood and it is one of the simple examples of traditional Ottoman-Turkish architecture.
  • There is a plaque above the entrance door that says “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim”, (known as Basmala, meaning “In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious”).
  • The windows have iron bars, and there are flower pots and lighting lamps in classical Ottoman style on both sides of the entrance door.
  • The unique cone form of the minaret is striking and gives the structure a characteristic appearance.
