The mosque, which fell into disrepair over time and only the ruins of the minaret and walls remained, was rebuilt and opened for worship in 1980 with the help of the public.
- Prominent features
It has a square plan, concrete ceiling, and wooden roof.
Mihrab is covered with Kütahya tiles, minbar and pulpit are wooden.
Women gallery is concrete; entrance is in the narthex.
The minaret that comes out of the mosque has an old base and cut stone; its body is brick; its balcony is single, and its cone is lead-coated.
Regarding the benefactor of the mosque, it was built in 1515 by Kemaleddin son Şerafeddin Kırımi, a scholar of the Mehmed II period. According to the door inscription, the construction date is 1524. There is a ten-year difference between the sources Tahsin Öz and Hadika regarding the construction date. Regarding this difference, Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi writes that Molla Şeref must have been 130-150 years old at that time, yet he died in Bursa in 1436, and that although his foundation deed mentions Şeref Hoca, his benefactor could have been another Şeref or the inscriptions could have been placed for another reason.
