Changes After Construction

  1. Inside the tekke (Dervish lodge), there is a tevhidhane and a lodging, a cemetery in the courtyard, and a fountain on the side facing the road.

  2. The graveyard, together with the lodge, was repaired in 2012.

Featured Highlights

  • It is also known as the Hocazade Tekke and Mehmet Tahir Efendi Tekke of the Rufai dervish order.

  • The burial ground, which covers a rectangular area, contains graves dating back to the 19th century and later.

  • Two of the graves have turbaned heads. There are three gravestones in the graveyard.
