- Changes after its construction
  • It was revived by Grand Admiral Kaymak Mustafa Pasha in the 17th century.
  • During these works, a minbar was added to the mosque and a school was built next to it.
  • In recent years, a women’s gallery has been added.
  • It has lost much of its original texture, and the facades have been plastered inside and out with recent restorations.

  • It was built on a 252 m² land. It is covered with masonry walls.
  • Its single-balcony minaret is made of brick and was built with a cylindrical body on a square base.
  • The mihrab protrudes from the exterior and is decorated with plant ornaments.
  • There are stylized vegetal and geometric ornaments on the side panels and railings of the wooden minbar, and they are painted with gilding.
  • There is a two-storey wooden women’s gallery added later, on the northern side of the Harim.
  • The north, south and east sides of the square-planned mosque are surrounded by courtyards.
