It was abandoned over time and when only its four walls remained, its stones were sold by a contractor.
The mosque was revived thanks to the association formed by the people coming together between 1985 and 1988.

It is also known as “Tulumcu Husam Mosque”.
It was built from cut stone.
The minaret is built on the arch of the entrance gate, which is a rare feature, and is an interesting example from an architectural point of view.
The walls of the rectangular mosque are made of cast stones, and the ceiling is reinforced concrete and has a wooden roof.
It was built together with the women’s gallery and the narthex.
Its minaret, which was rebuilt in accordance with the original, has a round body, a single balcony and a cast stone cone, starting from the second-floor level and above the door.
The inner wall skirts, columns, window tops, mihrab, minbar and preacher’s pulpit are decorated with Kütahya tiles.
There is a fountain with a dome and a marble chamber in its courtyard. It also has a marble-coated fountain for drinking water.
The garden is tidy and well-maintained, and there are some old graves in the mosque’s graveyard.
Although it is said that Sheikh Hüsameddin Bursevi, who died in 1632, had a tomb here, his grave does not exist today.
