It is also known as Selahi Mehmed Bey Mosque, Bey Mosque, Sürahi Mosque, Silahşör Mehmet Bey Mosque.
Its founder, Silahşör Mehmet Bey, is buried next to the mosque.
The mosque is built with a combination of cut stone and brick. It has a vaulted roof and there is a wooden shuttered window on three facades. There is no inscription on the building.
The door of the mosque opens to a closed narthex.
The mosque attracts attention with its pavillion-type minaret, examples of which can be found in Gaziantep and Kahramanmaraş.
