- Changes after its construction
  • After its construction, it was repaired by Sultan Abdulmecid, son of Mahmud II.
- Prominent features
  • It is in the fourth courtyard of Topkapı Palace, north of the Treasury.
  • It was commissioned by the Sultan for the people of the ward called “Sofa Ocağı”.
  • It was built in the Empire style and previously the “Silahtar Pavilion” was located here.
  • It is a small building and has no windows as its southern facade is adjacent to the burial chamber.
  • There are large windows on the other facades.
  • It has a small gallery, and a flat dome covered with lead.
