- Changes after its construction
After its construction, it was repaired by Sultan Abdulmecid, son of Mahmud II.
- Prominent features
It is in the fourth courtyard of Topkapı Palace, north of the Treasury.
It was commissioned by the Sultan for the people of the ward called “Sofa Ocağı”.
It was built in the Empire style and previously the “Silahtar Pavilion” was located here.
It is a small building and has no windows as its southern facade is adjacent to the burial chamber.
There are large windows on the other facades.
It has a small gallery, and a flat dome covered with lead.
The interior of the dome is colorful and decorated.
It has a minaret with a single balcony.
There is no narthex.
There is an inscription written in the form of Talik regarding the restoration of Sultan Abdülmecid dated 1858/59.
