An extensive restoration was carried out in 2023.
After the construction of the mosque, the district in which it is located was named Suadiye.
Featured Highlights
It was built with a square plan and a single dome. It has a single minaret and a single balcony.
The exterior and minaret are made of Maltese stone. The interior walls are covered with tiles. The mihrab, the minbar and the preacher's pulpit are made of marble.
There is a shadirvan and a fountain in its garden.
The decorations on the dome and the large windows are striking details in the interior.
At the entrance of the mosque, there are workshops serving the municipality.
